Who is Roy this time?
What does Roy want? Roy wants to get back to Kul Viller to see Toini
What does Roy need? Roy still needs to put his feelings for Toini to rest.
Who is Alene this time?
What does Alene want? Alene wants to tag along with Roy and write a story about his journey from Tin Jian to wherever he’s going.
What does Alene need? Somewhere she can feel at home.
- Roy and Alene ride the train and get to know each other.
- Roy and Alene are ambushed and Alene is captured.
- Roy decides to go back and help Alene after all.
Roy and Alene are both on the train. Turns out both of them has planned ahead and they both have tickets for this train. They both wanted on it, and they both planned ahead a little bit.
They sit and catch their breaths for a bit, and then it’s finally time for introductions. Alene does know who Roy is, as she’s up to date with the news, and the goings on in the world. She tries not to be too obvious about it though. She does mention that she works as a freelance journalist though.
Roy asks why she helped him and she explains how the pack betrayed her and that she wanted to get back on them.
So what now then? Is the question.
Alene says she would like to tag along with Roy and see what happens with him. She offers to help him as best as she can – and he already knows she’s good in a fight. Roy refuses and doesn’t want anything to do with anyone else, and least of all some journalist…
That kind of puts a damper on things for a bit.
At station further on Alene gets captured.
Have they both stepped off, or is it just Alene, with Roy watching from the train as she gets caught?
Alene probably stepped off to pick up some newspapers, or to check her messages with the IR Central (you can’t do that on board the train). Roy sits and watch as thugs swarm Alene, bring her down and take her away. Or maybe it’s just a few of them and they use silver spray to knock her out?
Roy watches, and then the train starts moving and he’s still on it…
Do we follow Roy as he sits there wondering whether to go back or not? Do we stick with Alene, or do we go on directly to what happens next?
Alene brought her suitcase with her, because it’s very important to her, and she didn’t trust Roy to not make off with it.
(does this work? Do they maybe both get off the train and Alene gets caught while Roy’s in the bathroom?)
Roy is back where Alene got caught. She probably hasn’t been taken anywhere else. There’s been no other train than the one he came back on, and it’s unlikely they’ll have gone far without train. Roy knows how to work the underworld and he should be able to find her.
Maybe he lets himself get caught? It’s unlikely, as there probably isn’t anyone looking for him anymore. Instead, he tracks down the local thuggery and finds out where they took Alene. Once he gets there, he’s met by Alene who’s just breaking out.
Alene needs to get her suitcase though, but that’s easy work. Maybe Roy went and got that first and then put it in a locker?
