Writing By Hand

I write all my stories on my laptop – no exception.

I know others who write their stories by hand and then transfer them to the computer – and edit in the process. Admittedly, I haven’t tried this, but if I know myself right, and I think I do, then that wouldn’t work for me.

Writing on the computer does work, and it works well enough I’m not interested in spending time and effort into researching other methods of writing. I may at some point, but for now it’s not a priority.

However, I’ve learned that today is National Hand Writing Day. May friend Kat did this video about it:

She does a series of videos called Kat’s Amazing Celebrations, and I’m more than happy to promote her channel to those of you reading this. Check it out.

I don’t write stories by hand, but I have a friend who I will occasionally send a letter, and then I do write by hand. It’s a rather satisfying experience, the combination of writing by hand and writing to someone. Somehow it becomes a lot more personal and intimate, and I really enjoy that.

So, yes, I’ll do that now. Not that I have anything important to say, but for now, that’s not the point.
