This is my own take on pea soup, which is a traditional Swedish dish. This one doesn’t really have very much in common with it, but the taste is kind of similar.
I’ve tried it in various forms a few times and the recipe I wrote down results in a very thick soup. It’s more of a creme really. Pork & Pea Creme – doesn’t sound very appetising, does it? It works for me though, but try it at your own risk.
If you want it less chunky, skip the black pudding and fill up with water instead. You can skip the beans, or half the beans, too.
