I wrote about writing, again.
This time it’s an article about adding little sparks of life to the worlds I’ve created for my stories. You can read it here.
My basic idea for this article is that no matter how amazing and fantastic the created world is, a reader still needs something familiar to connect with in order for them to bring the world to life. “As usual” I’m arguing that the impressions we create in our own minds when reading are much stronger and more real to us than anything described in the actual text.
My thinking is that this can be applied when creating worlds as well.
